FAQs

Q: How are the HFWs organized?

A: The majority of HFWs are decodable and research suggests that they should be taught alongside similar phonics patterns. 114 decodable Dolch and/or Fry HFWs are included throughout the word lists based on the corresponding phonics pattern. The HFWs are also grouped together in review lists (in all applicable grades) for optional further practice to help obtain mastery.
